Pete/Lisa were out over the weekend doing some route recce and have round some interesting roads! :)
The 2024 Loop Rally is the third TSD event of the year hosted by the Calgary
Sports Car Club.
This rally will be held under the Rally West Regional Rally Regulations, which
are available at:
http://www.rallywest.com. The rally runs on straight-forward instructions.
In addition to the route
instructions, GPS co-ordinates will be provided for recovery purposes. The
rally will be approx.
700km long, entirely within the province of Alberta. An odometer check section
of 4km will be
provided before the rally starts. Roads will be about 20% clear pavement,
80% gravel and all
instructions will be provided in KM units.

This is a TSD or Naviational event, so we won't be travelling at warp speed, but due to the night schedule auxiliary lights would not do any harm.
The rally will use straight-forward navigation in a Regularity / Monte Carlo format, including challenging driving sections. Some driving proficiency will be required due to the night schedule and the challenging nature of the event.
Richta Rally App
We will be using the Richta Rally app for this event. Please download the
competitor app on
your phones, Tablets. The app MUST remain open during the event. All instructions
will be
posted to the website. There will be start boards at each regularity. You
must stay behind the
board until your time out. If you go past the board before your minute, you
will get a max of 600
points.
